This year, September 11, is on a Sunday and is the ten-year anniversary of 9-11.
What an opportunity this is for all of us to be together in special prayer for our great country and its people - and for ourselves.
As you know PRAYER is the HEART of the Unity movement, and certainly it is the heart of our spirituality. This is an opportunity for us to join people of this nation and many other nations around the world who will be uniting in prayer.
This is a time when we can spiritually support people in our local and world communities who are especially longing for that spiritual support on this ten-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks, looking to God and to one another.
We each have a powerful opportunity to change ourselves and our world as we come together in united prayer for peace, harmony and understanding. As we renew our faith and our sense of hope - that awareness can be felt around the world. Our theme for this prayer will be
INNER PEACE
-to help instill peace in the hearts of all people on this special day of prayer and remembrance.
